Raphael Gindt shows a naked female body, who hides her genital area from the observer. He generates a qualmish ambience to set the focus only on the middle of the naked body and on this woman’s deportment. This is intensified by the unfinished head and legs.
The glass paintings „Malaise“ are  symbols of antipathy and stimulus.
Raphael Gindt performs with a sentimental nude with an exciting influence of the mirroring, the
transparency and the tension of glass.
Generally known for his several portrait paintings, these “malaise” paintings have no explicit face.
It is painted with his distinctive technique, a palette-knife and paint splashes.
