The Towerbridge is a pretty nice bridge in London that is over a 100 years old by now.
It was origanlly open in 1894 for the public and was started building in 1886.
The actuall street that goes over it is the Street A100.
It is an bascule bridge (Klappbrücke) and not just a normal bridge.
Over one side of the bridge is the Tower on London, thats on the north side.
On the other side of it is the the big Cityhall, thats on the south side.
There are 40.000 people and cars going over ist every single day and the cars cross over in 9 m of hight.
In total the bridge is 244m long and the longest longest span is 61 m.
The bridge lays between thee coordinates 51* 30′ 20″ N and 0* 4′ 32″ W .
The one thinking of the bridge also called the planner was Horace Jones.

How big can the ship be? It is a really nice work and a nice building.
It is a bascule bridge what means it claps open (kplappt auf) WHAT MEANS the ships can go till the bridge for the people that are walking over there but no big ships really go under that bridge atleast not often.
