My weekend in Liverpool

Hello my friends,
welcome to my weekend blog about Liverpool. On the first day afternoon we went to the exciting Liverpool Football Club Stadium with the museum, which is located in the Anfield Road. There we could get behind the scenes from the legendary stadium. In the museum was explained to us the Liverpool FC Story. We became an audioguide to better get in to the story and the feeling. For dinner we went to a restaurant which named Madre. A mexican bar and restaurant that is serving street food and the best cheese tacos. We ate there until 9 o´clock. Then we go to our hotel near centre. Next morning we ate a beautifuly breakfast. Our plan for the morning: of course the beatles museum and liverpool philharmonie. For afternoon we planned a tour with the Mersey Ferry. From the ship´s stop we walked to the Bold Street. There we were shopping. Then we have dinner in a steak restaurant named Hawksmoor that´s located in the Brunswick Street. The last day we visited the Liverpool Cathedral. And then we drove home. It was an great weekend trip!
See you next time!
Yours, Gwen<3

The monkey attack

Dear Reader, have you been to Liverpool and what did you do there?
On Saturday the 7th, my friends and I were im Liverpool for the first time. We stayed there in a hotel and wanted to inquire about the market in Liverpool.
Saturday morning we got up very early so that we cloud take the bus to go to the market. We finally arrived at the market and suddenly ma friends scream, it was so loud that I was completely scared. I looked at my friends and couldn’t believe my eyes. I was shocked. A monkey sat on my friend shoulder and jumped from shoulder to shoulder. It was a monkey attack. The owner of the monkey came to us and we told him what happened. The owner said sorry for what happened and caught the monkey again. After the shocking experience, we needed something to come down. We found a stand where there were delicious smoothies. Everyone wanted a banana smoothie and couldn’t wait to drink it after the monkey attack. The banana smoothie was very tasty and helped us get dow. We then slowly drove back to the hotel, because there was dinner there. I didn’t like dinner so much, but there was cheesecake for dessert for everyone, which was tasty. After that, we also had to go to bed, because we’re going back home tomorrow. Me and my friends thought it was nice in Liverpool except that the monkey cared us so much. We would definitely visit Liverpool again.
Thank you for reading and how would you react to such a monkey attack?

I tell you something about my weekend in Liverpool.
At the first day we walk to the Superlambanana my parents took a lot of photos I didn’t find it so interesting, it seens like a dogbanana. After that we ate something and went for a little shop. So the first day was not really good, but let see we have another day. At the next day we heart the hohl day Beatles songs it was terrible I can’t hear that anymore. But my Mom and Dad sang all of them with they like it ): . And that all because we want to go to the Beatles Walking Tour. I was surprised because it wasn’t that bad we became a lot of information and mad a lot of Quiz. At the middle of the walk we ate yummy food and enjoy the sunset with a story of the Beatles.
So the second day wasn’t that bad how I thought. Now I’m home and Liverpool was really cool and interesting, I can omit it. Go to Liverpool (;

After that we are to the Albert Dock harbour to see the river the Mersey. There everyone had the funny English dialect Scouse. And then, unfortunately, it eas already the last day. 🙁 On that day, we went to the cathedral church in Liverpool. And in the evening we are in the Cowshed Liverpool restaurant. My day at Liverpool Cathedral

Hello guys and welcome to my blog!
Yesterday we went to Liverpool Cathedral. The Liverpool Cathedral was beautiful, but let’s start at the beginning.
The alarm went off at 7 am and we all woke up. Then we took the bus to a nice restaurant to eat breakfast. I had porridge with strawberries and an orange juice and it was very tasty. After that, we took the bus for another three hours to the Cathedral. When we finally arrived, we had to wait for about an hour before we were finally let in.
The Cathedral was very very beautiful inside and out. It was very large and impressive and when you said something you could hear your echo.
There were many bright lamps that made the walls appear golden. It also had big windows with coloured glass. We could see a huge stairs as well.
As we walked through the cathedral we noticed many benches next to us where the people sit when there is a mass.
As you can see, we have learned many interesting facts about the Liverpool Cathedral. Let me know if you want to go there too!

I and my family at the London derby

Chelsea vs Liverpool, that was the game of the day. I and Dad and Mum goes in the stadion, we check the tickets and goes inside. It was beautiful and I was amazed at the size of the stadium. I cant believe that I were in Anfield, my parents was amazed too. The games begin and Chelsea scores the first goal, but then Liverpool scores two times and turns the game. The rest of the game was exciting and full of good chances for both teams. But the decisive thing is that Liverpool won. After the game all Liverpool fans are drunk, my parents too and we celebrate the win. Then we sang the Liverpool Anthem and the players also celebrate the win. I goes out of the stadium, to the hotel. In the hotel we are so happy and broken, that we only fall in sleep.

A weekend in Liverpool

When we got to the Hotel, I first unpacked all my stuff. After that our Teacher said that we’re already gonna do our first little trip to a museum about slavery. So I got myself ready and we headed out, to the museum, in a big group. When we got there, a guid started telling us were we are gonna look around and what we are mostly gonna look at. He also told us that we can look around ourselfs in little groups at the end of his tour.
The first thing we saw was a mask hanging on the wall and Gareth literally jumped in front of it and started mimiking the mask. I onestly thought it was kind of funny, but Morgan really did not like that he did that.
But the tour guide also had to laugh a little and started telling us about the history of this mask.
After that we started walking a bit and I saw some kind of drum. Because I didn’t really know what that was I asked the tour guide and he explained to us things like „Who played it?”, for example. He then also showed us a lot more things and then it was time to walk around a bit on our own. We walked along some of the corridors and it was really sad to see, what the people in slavery had to go through back then.
After a while our teacher called us and every single group headed back to the entrance. The teacher then checked if everyone was there and we headed back to the hotel.

Exploring Liverpool

The way

Saturday morning-we woke up at 9am. Then we had breakfast at the hostel. Egg with toast and ham and a glass of orange juice. It was tasty. The hostel was also very big and practical. We made us ready, took our bags and went to explore Liverpool. We had a plan where we went. At the first we wanted to go to the waterfront, then through the Mathew Street and at the end our goal was Greaty. On the way we talked about other sights of Liverpool for example Liverpool Cathedral and the football club FC Liverpool. Gareth would like to go to The Beatles Story Museum, but we said we have seen enough of Beatles. Then we saw a little shop with sunglasses. Gareth bought someone. He looked like John Lennon 😉.
In Albert Dock we visited the Merseyside Maritime Museum with models and paintings of old ships.

Little shop

At lunchtime we were very hungry. What should we eat? We decided to eat a snack and have a drink in a little shop of vegetables- and a big ice cream in Greaty.

Slavery museum

At 3:45pm we came to the slavery museum, where the guide leader was waiting for us. This museum told us about the history from the slaves and the triangular trade. The history was very cruel and hard. The slaves couldn’t enough eat and drink. They worked hard on fields, plantations and mines. We were scared because the white people hit the black people with sticks.

Cavern Club show

After dinner in our hostel, we went to the Cavern Club show. Gareth was happy. We heard Beatles music for 2 hours. It was super. They were the best in their time. After this event we all were tired and felt into the bed. It was a very nice day.

The perfect day in the slavery museum

The day at the slavery museum was very interesting, but also depressing. For the reason that Gareth made fun of a mask that looks like a goat’s face. At first I thought it was funny too, but then I realized there was a story behind it. The story behind it was that it was made in West Africa a long time ago. Similar masks are worn today in Nigeria at the festival of the Ogoni people. There are also special drums. The name of these drums is Udu. It is an instrument of the Igbo people. They are made of clay and not wood. They also look like pots of water. Originally they were used to transport water, until a woman found out that they could also make music. Because carrying water was a woman’s job, udus were played by women. Another drum called djembe, it´s a drum of the Bamana people. It make another sound, because it played with bare hands, not with sticks. This day was unforgettable because I learned a lot about the culture of the Africans.
